Blinded by Alliteration....

SAGG vs. SWAGG
These two words may sound the same and are almost spelled the same. Except for one letter, the letter W. Which for the purpose of this blog will stand for WOW!! As a personal stylist, I have attempted in many ways to educate and empower the youth and adults on appearance. The importance of appearance goes beyond the "Do as you feel" philosophy adopted by so many of us today. I've mentioned that it takes just 30 seconds for someone to form an opinion or make a unconscionable judgement about a person. I taught that even when wearing casual attire, that it still reflects everything about us.
Let's focus on the SAGG if we shall. I personaly don't want to see anybody's underwear or body parts like that. Some states such as Florida have passed a Bill banning such clothing in thier school systems.
Some people think the new Florida bill is a long time coming and should spread throughout the U.S..  Some people think it’s a violation of a person’s rights; and that it targets young black males. It will be interesting to see the response to Florida’s new bill. The NAACP and ACLU are against it, for they believe it vioates personable rights.

All I'm saying is...Parents, teachers, role models, etc. Let's educate and lead by example on decency and self respect. Let's not allow other cultures to dictate and confuse the minds of our youth and young adults. Let's try to carry my message..Exchange the sagg for swagg. Here is a little help....
